WHO WE ARE: The DFW Tejano Music Coalition is a non-profit corporation, 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 2008 and comprised of persons with a personal and/or professional interest in Tejano and/or Conjunto music. Members include musicians, songwriters, venue owners, managers, entertainment attorneys, promoters, producers, DJs, music directors, music-fans and others.
WHAT WE DO: We educate our membership and the general public regarding Tejano and Conjunto music, with the goal of encouraging growth and development of the industry in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. In addition, we provide networking opportunities for our members. We meet monthly (unless otherwise noted) for a board of directors meeting. Our general membership meeting will be Bi-monthly or when necessary with either a social meeting or a Meet and Greet Mixer and we will discuss activities and events which DFWTMC is involved with.
EVENTS: The organizationis involved in activities throughout the year such as in Cinco de Mayo in May, Hispanic Heritage Music Fest in September/ October and Toys Drives in November and December. We will host an annual mixer for our members sometime during the year. There are also serveral other events throughout the year that you will see us at.
SERVICES: A directory of members, listing their professions/businesses/interest, to enable other members to obtain assistance and/or advice from one another. News on members is posted in our social media, Facebook and www.DFWTMC.org, which includes directories, area for members, musicans/bands and radio stations listing. Check out event page area which has listings of upcoming events, cruises ans also who's playing around town. We currently working on a DFWTMC membership discount card to be honored for discount at a variety of area merchants. (Coming Soon)
WHERE OUR MONEY COMES FROM: We receive monies primarily through membership dues, companies and individuals sponsors, as well as annual fundraiser to help fund our annual scholarship.

WHERE OUR MONEY GOES: Our monetary requirements include maintaining a web site, promotional materials, mailing and publicity related expenses and incidental expense related to DFWTMC sponsored events.
